hi there,
i have replaced an old full electric cooker with a freestanding electric oven and gas hob, the manual states the grill at 2000w and circular element at 2500w(they cannot run at the same time)
It came supplied with a 13a plug
I have plugged it into the over worktop sockets on the ring main for now but i realise this isn't acceptable not least for the trailing flex across to the socket.
I want to connect the cooker to the 6mm cooker radial that was already in place. It runs from a 30 amp fuse on the old wylex CU along 6mm T&E to a cooker switch then to a cooker connection plate behind the appliance.
What would be best practise for connection please?
cheers
