I'm thinking of buying a gas hob to replace an electric hob. I note in the suppliers brochure that the Corgi regs require a pressure test nipple near to the gas hob. I have a self sealing bayonet connection buried in the wall for the connection of the hob or oven. Does this connection need to be modified to incorporate a test nipple, or can the test nipple be in the interconnecting pipework?
