There is a guy local to me that has done similar to this lad, constantly in the local press, you should see the house he has, drives a Rolls Royce has about 5 different cars, never heard anyone say a good word about him, I riddored him a few years back and got the customer to report him to gas safe, worst install I have seen and I have seen a few, absolutely nothing done about it, I had disked the meter, customer called about 2 weeks later and said can I just pay you to sort everything because no one is doing anything about it and we need the heating on, absolute disgrace

I note that he is “trustmark” registered; that may give you some additional protection or complaints process.
Or it may be a worthless sticker on the side of his van that doesn’t in any way mean he can be trusted, who knows!
