I have noticed that after
A) using the hot water
B) flushing the toilet
there is a wailing sound coming from the pipes for about thrity seconds. It is difficult to describe it exactly, but it sounds a little ghostly and starts about ten seconds after each of the above and lasts less than a minute. The hot water is hot and everything else seems to work fine, there is just this strange noise.
