Hello all. I'm going to be replacing the flat roof on the original brick built extension at the back of the house with glazing, to let some more light in. The intention is that the roof will either either be fully glazed (similar to a flat conservatory roof) OR with glazing in the middle and with a small amount of ceiling (eg. under 1 ft) left all the way around it. Either way, I know it will need rafters running down the glazed panels. I'm then going to replace the single door at the back with some French doors.
Does anyone:
1. Have any experience with companies that can supply and/or fit the glazed roof, before I commit to a particular company? It'll probably have to be double glazed but I'm looking at both hardwood or even pvc.
2. Ditto for the French Doors - the house is Victorian, so I'd like to keep to that type of style. again, any suggestions?
Thanks everyone in advance, J.
