Hi new member here.

Reading other peoples post on here may have already answered this problem but here goes...

I have a glow worm 30ci combi that has developed a problem were the pressure falls to just below 1.0 bar when the boiler is off, but then when the heating is on it can rise to as much as 3.6 bar with a flashing display. The hot water a few months ago didnt get as hot as it used to and turning up the hot water stat to Max didnt really improve it.Only turning down the flow of the hot water tap slightly improves it but you can still hold your hand under the water when running !
Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated before i decided on the next step to getting it sorted or replacing it for a condensing boiler. Thanks

It sounds as if you have a failed expansion vessel and a blocked plate heat exchanger.

For a start look at the FAQ on this site to read about the expansion vessel.
