Dear All.
I have a Glow Worm Compact 60 Fanned Flue System boiler on a sealed system. When there is a demand for hot water everything is fine. When there is a demand for hot water and heating, everything is fine allbeit the heating takes longer to reach temp, however, when there is a demand for heating only, the water pressure goes right up to 3 bar and water is released through the pressure safety valve. Rads heat up fine and the boiler keeps going. Obviously, when the system cools down, the water pressure has dropped due to the water loss through the safety valve, right down to zero and has to be topped up which is rather a pain. Has anyone any ideas as to the cause of the problem?
Many thanks. Pete L.
