glow worm swiftflow 100-pilot light problems

howdy,
mi dad rang me earlier to say hes having probs with the boiler.he says the pilot light ignites,stays on for a bit then dies out?does anybody have any suggestions please?thanks

im not thinking of attempting this myself.the boiler is covered by central heating cover(bg).am just curious as to what is wrong

My boiler went of so I light pilot again but when I turn knob round after pilot is lite it goes out, any idea
