My Boiler keeps going to fault code F24 return temperature over 90 degrees does anyone have any ideas why this is happening.

Have you done any work on the heating?
That fault code is usually attributed to water not getting away from the boiler quick enough.
Could be:
Air in system, faulty pump, iso valve(if fitted) shut on the flow pipe.

How quick does this fault come up from the boiler starting up?

Graham

No we have had no work done on the system. The pump is working fine all rads nice and hot no cold spots anywhere. Could it be a stat issue calling for heat when it should be shunting down.

You have not answered his last and most relevant question.

I would add does the flow pipe get hot?

How does anyone pass exams if they dont read and answer questions?

It happens quick when the boiler is starting from cold ie 1st thing in morning.
The return pipe seems to get really hot before the flow pipe. Once the boiler and everything is up to temp it cuts in and out as it should do.

When its up to temp which pipe is hotest?
