Well LOOK at the E version, after the pilot it'll probably be much the same.

Next would be testing safety devices then, so perhaps you need a corgi.

sorry about that. pilot was fine but boiler was not firing. found that the fan was sticking and freed it.thought this might cure firing fault but now cant get pilot to hold

Overheat stat might be resettable. If it is then its a case of getting some oil on that fan. If it works then you can save up for a new fan.
A word of warning! Don't use an aerosol lubricant with the pilot lit unless you like the smell of burning hair.
