GlowWorm Ultima 50 BF problem

Looked at a GlowWorm Ultima 50BF with non working burner.
Pilot flame OK
Boiler thermostat doesn't seem to be working correctly. When on 0, the boiler fires up. When thermostat control set anywhere between Min <> Max, doesn't fire up.

OK main boiler thermostat probably faulty, (after 3 years?? ), but strange that when set to 0, boiler fires up. I would not have expected that, but stranger things happen in this world.

Also, see no sign of an overheat safety cut-out, is there one on this boiler?

Can't even remember where the boiler was, let alone what the end result turned out to be! Nearly 4 years ago. Possibly the Fan, but otherwise, unless I remember during my sleeping hours, I can't offer any more help, sorry,
