Hi,

I bought a UPA 15-90 water booster yesterday from the plumb centre to boost my domestic hot water as the pressure is rubbish. The shop advised me you can fit on the hot water supply which feeds the hot taps.

Although the manual doesn't state you can't do this, it doesn't state you can either.

Could one of you knowledgeable people advise whether this is ok.

I have just fitted the pump but don't want to switch it on and cause damage if you can't do this.

If you look at the full details linked to you will see its rated for fluid temperatures up to 70°C.

Normally hot water is stored between 55°C and 65°C.
