Gutter / Roof gap too big?

To create a pitched roof on top of a flat roof, the timbers and tiles used to build it have raised the leading edge of the roof by about two to three inches.

This have left a large gap between the gutter and tiles. The roofer has bridged the gap with membrane. The adjoining semi still has a flat roof and shares the guttering. Is there a way to improve the look and make a better / more permanent guttering solution.

Good idea. Hadn't thought of that. Was thinking I would need to raise and overlap next doors gutter to avoid leaks where they would meet at the centre. Will look into them. Cheers
Normally much cheaper at a local UPVC place rather than screwfix etc. They will hide the membrane which will make it look a lot better!
