We have just had our boiler moved because we are having a new kitchen fitted, and we had a roomstat fitted at the same time. My question is, what control have i now got over the central heating because it appears that i have no control on the dial clock on the boiler any more.

i assumed the controls would be as follows

0 - Central heating off
auto - Central heating set by dial clock on boiler
1 - Central heating set by roomstat.

thanks in advance

oh and the boiler is a worcester 24i ans the roomstat is a H/WELL T4360B 1015

they might have fitted a programmable 'stat, if so the timer on the boiler is not required.

didn't notice that last line

perhaps they wired it wrongly.

If your original statement is correct, the clock options on the boiler are:

Off permanently
Timed by the timer and temperature controlled by the room thermostat
On permanently and still temperature controlled by the room thermostat

It appears you did not hire the brightest bulb in the pack to do the job, was he even registered at all?
