hairline Cracks in walls keep returning after a few months

Hairline cracks in walls keep returning after a few months, i have filled them with polyfiller etc. The house is five years old and i thought this is long enough for the house to settle but the fine cracks come back in the same places. What filler should i use ?[/b /color]

With fine cracks i use caulk rubbed in with the finger then wipe of the excess with a damp cloth. As the caulk is a little bit more elastic it has chance to move a bit if the crack tries to expand. Hard filler like pollyfilla can keep cracking if it is still moving.

Thanks, i though 'caulk' was the best thing to try, i just wondered if there was anything new, i will do what you said though.
