hi, hoping someone can help, we had a halstead ace high boiler fitted about 6 years ago, has worked fine until about 2 months ago, the central heating works fine, but we struggle to get hot water out of the tap! we usually have to run the tap on full for a couple of minutes for it to work, some times we have had to run the central heating to get the hot water to kick in.

we had a plumber round to try and sort it, he replaced a flow switch, and also a diaphragm he though may of had a pin hole in. it seemed to work a bit better after that, but the problem is as bad again now, he has since said it could be a transformer problem.

but it sounds to me hes not sure what the problem is, and i really dont want to buy expensive parts that arnt going to fix the problem

does anyone out there have any ideas?

cheers
