Hi all,
We are redoing our bathroom and have a shower enclosure with 3 walls . One wall will be hardiebacker boards over battens and the other two are bare plaster. I wanted to sense check a few things
Firstly the order of events. Is the below correct?
1. Attach hardie backer cement boards to battens with screws
2.Tape and fill seams
3. Apply water proofing product https://www.wickes.co.uk/Mapei-Mapelastic-Aquadefense-Waterproof-Membrane---7-5kg/p/114253 to two bare plaster walls
4.Attach shower wall panels with adhesive, trim and sealant as described in shower panel instructions https://images.victorianplumbing.co.uk/images/pdf/VPWP-2410-LGMC_Ins.pdf
Also if I use below product for taping the hardie backer seams can I also use as the adhesive to attach shower panels (step 4)? If not what product can I use?
