I am about to start a project to lay a wooden subfloor over a concrete slab cast last october in my new extension. I propose to use 3x2 joists layed directly on top of the slab at 14" centres with noggins to stop twisting (and support edge of boards) and cover with 3/4 ply. Any hints tips or comments would be apprciated (even rude ones).
On top of this wooden sub floor i am intending to lay a solid birch plank floor
