Help - I'd like to fit a dummy cast-iron fireplace

Hi

Please can someone help me?

I currently have a hole in my wall where I paid a man to open up the bricked in fireplace. The hole is around 20cm wide.

Can someone help me with how I would fit a cast iron fire place. The fireplace is an all-in-one and we will not be using it as a working fire. It is simply for show.

Is it as easy as opening the hole in the wall and placing the insert inside of it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
