Help needed with my heating

Hi there,
Is there anyone who can help me.

I have oil fuelled central heating.

All my radiators are hot but my tank is cold. I have contacted a guy to service my boiler but am bewildered as to the why I don't have hot water.
I'd appreciate any help.

you mean the cylinder is cold

it might be a blockage or a shortage of water. If you bleed the highest radiator in the house, does water squirt out vigorously? Is it higher or lower than the cylinder? what colour is the water that comes out?

Is there a thermostat strapped to the cylinder, with an electric cable coming out of it?

Is there a three-port valve, with a cable coming out of it, near the pump?
