Hi, sorry if this is a non issue.
I just got a new gas line put in under the floorboards, and at one of the bends the elbow comes above the height of the bottom of the floorboard. The GASSAFE guy who did it gave me a certificate and left.
I did not notice. But then his colleagues who did the heavy lifting came to put the floorboards back and I saw them forcing the pipe under the floorboard.
I stopped them as I could see the rest of the pipe was stressing. They say it is fine but i am not so sure.
I have left that board open for now (i am extra worried because I am eyeing putting a washing machine right over that spot and that will shake everything!)
Am i being silly? is this ok?
