changed a rad in my sisters. dident drain down. used an ice kit. everything went ok. put heating on and it heated up ok then it went cold and now cant get it to work. suspect its airlocked. trouble is two of the bleed screws on rads downstairs are knackered so cant bleed the system.anyone any ideas what i can do. the system is gravity fed with tank in loft and the boiler is a maxol morroco 4o.thanks

Are the bleed screws mounted in 1/2" bsp plugs? If so you can replace the plug and screw.
Otherwise you'll probably need new rads.
the downstairs should be fine and not need bleeding but why not use a spanner and loosen the cap end???? the valve on the new rads fully opened?? also id check n balance the system pump working ok and is the system filling up with water from the f n e tank
