honeywell cm927 target temperature too high

Hi please help!! I have a honeywell CM927 thermostat. the target temperature is set at 25 degress, i cannot figure out how to change it. do i need to move the thermostat to a different place? it is in the kitchen, it is not pariculualrly close to the radiator. it has been working fine untill the last few weeks. the heating keep coming on when it si nolt timed to, and it get vwery hot! thankyou for any comments. Laura

It's not a good idea to have the thermostat in the kitchen as the heat from cooking will turn the boiler off before the rest of the house gets up to temperature.
