i have a electric hormann ecomatic garage door. When i close it with remote control it will not fully close is there a top and bottom limit on door how do you set it so door will open fully and close fully

I've fixed (reprogrammed) a couple of different makes of garage doors and they all seem different. Some have wireless sensors which sense passing magnets, others have a light curtain at the bottom. Some just rely on the motor current. I Haven't time now to download the manual for your door:
