We are refurbishing a ground floor mansion flat and want to install two showers which will occasionally be used at the same time. We have been advised to install two shower pumps. What size water tanks would we need --hot and cold? We have very limited space available above one of the shower rooms to house the cold water tank and the hot water tank would need to be torpedo shaped. We are keen to get the best possible shower pressure --not talking about jet showers or anything fancy -- so what pump size should we be looking for?

Any advice and help gratefully received.

Two pumps seems excessive, one bigger one would be enough. Alternatively, have you considered either an unvented hot water cylinder or a combi boiler?
