It sounds as if you employed some kind of cowboy!

If replacing the pump at least he should have waited to see if the system was working!

I am surprised that you even paid him if it was not working properly!

Yes tony he does seem to be in a bit of a hurry to go once he is there, not waiting to check if all is ok etc. It may well pay to get a second opinion from someone else if you can get them without a call out charge.
