Just wanted to check on my HW cylinder set up. I have 2 x 15mm pipes coming off near the bottom, these have motorised valves on them. I have 1 x 22m pipe going in near the bottom which i am assuming is the cold water feed, then i have 1 x 22m pipe coming off the top which i assume is the vent, where is the shower fed from with HW, is it off the vent pipe. Apologies for asking but didn't want to get ladder and go in loft at this time of night.

You are right about the 22mm vent at the top. This pipe will also supply the hot water to the taps and quite likely your shower. You are also right about the 22mm cold feed at the bottom.

However, the two 15mm pipes both having motorised valves on is odd. If the cylinder is heated by your boiler, then there is a coil inside the cylinder at the base which allows water from the boiler to circulate and heat the contents of the cylinder. It would not be unusual for one to have a motorised valve on, but not both.

Sometimes power showers (pumped showers) are tapped in separately to avoid air bubbles from the vent being sucked into the pump and causing cavitation. However, any such connections will be fairly high up on the cylinder.
