hot water from cold tap

Whining from Jaguar boiler now fixed. howeve, now keep getting piping hot water coming out of cold tap for about 30 seconds or more until it goes cold. Very wierd, especially when trying to have shower!!

If you run your hot tap first for 30 seconds, do you still get hot water from the cold tap?
