hot water pressure very low

Hi, the hot water pressure in my house has never been very good, my neighbours also suffer with the same problem.
What I have thought of as a solution was to fit a pump on the hot water system, but that's where I need your help.
Can it be fitted in between the cold water header tank and hot water tank?

Please advise.

No.

It must be fitted on the hot water outlet of the cylinder, and in accordance with the instructions supplied by the pump manufacturer.
If you have any mixer taps or a shower supplied from the hot cylinder and cold storage, a dual pump will be required.
