My dishwasher was faulty but it turned out to be a kinked hose.. once that was sorted.. a few weeks later it went with a bang and a poof of smoke.. my husband took the front off to the circuit board and its burnt a hole in it... has anyone experienced this before as I don't want to start buying a new circuit board if its something else that caused it.

thanks in advance :)

Blown circuit boards are not too un-common, you need to trace the blown circuit back to an edge connector and then check what ever was plugged into that particular part of the wiring harness.

Most common are blown motor, heater, a poor solder joint or just a duff componant, if you can post a decent pic of the board showing the damage it may be more help.
