Hotpoint aquarius TCM 570 slow at drying.

Hi,

I bought the above machine and put in a load (the machine is a 6kg machine and it was 3/4 full) - 80mins, then took half out as very damp and put the other half on for 60mins and this was still damp, so on again for another 50mins and still not fully dry - still very damp.

Should this be dry by now - what could be the problem?

When I bought it the heater element on the back was knackered so I replaced this and now it has heat but their is obviously a problem.

Thanks

Is the condenser cleaned out at the bottom

Hi, I looked at this last week, pulled it out and it looked pretty clean - I looked down it and you could see through the gaps, but I'll check again.

Thanks

Also try it with a half load. It looks like too much in there.
