our hotpoint aquarius+ super spin WD640 1400 has stopped drying - it proceeds onto the drying programme but no heat seems to be generated.
i have taken the top off and the fan seems to be working from what i can hear. So it is likely to be either the thermostats or the element.
It is the first time i have looked inside a washing machine and am struggling to work out what is what - I have attached the photos. It seems there is a thermistor in there? There also seems to be a thermal cut off in there but that's not connected to anything..?
could anyone please point me in the right direction in terms of what is what on the heater box and what I might want to test/replace first.
