hotpoint aquarius wf100 flashing prewash lights

Any ideas??? my machine is on strike at prewash, i often just use quickwash so tried other programmes but cant get passed prewash..

check water pipe not kinked ,does it overfill pass door bowl if so remove lid check presure pipe on the left hand side has not come loose

My handbook for a hotpoint wt540 Aquarius states that a flashing prewash light means " the machine has failed to take in water"

Thankyou so muchfor looking into that for me...how kind...i have no handbook i afraid, however the machine does get water if i put the cycle on as a prewash but its the only one that works....will check this out though, thanks again
