Hotpoint Aquarius WF321 Door Locked flashing

Hi,

My WF321 has stopped moving at all - whatever programme I choose, it looks like it's going to start but nothing happens other than the door locking. Sometimes after a while the Door Locked light starts flashing, but none of the error codes are displayed. Any clues as to what is likely to be wrong?

How easy is it to do this? Do you need to remove the motor first?

Yes by 2 bolts. Or in situ. You tube shows loads of vids.

Tried to start the machine again today - this time it started fine, but after the wash cycle the "Door locked" light went out and we were back to square one. Could it just be a faulty door latch / sensor?

Think I've fixed it - there was a little bit of corrosion on the contacts of the wires coming into the door latch. Scraped them with a screwdriver, and it's working like new.
