hotpoint ultimo extra

our ultimo extra has just started to play up,when coming to the end of a cycle it won't go onto the spin cycle,you can hear the machine still going until it finishes.

can anyone help or is it a case of getting an engineer out to it??

try it empty and see what happens, , oh and how old is it

its just over 5yrs i think the usual just out of warranty,i will give that a try cheers.

well as its 5, i bet the brushes have gone / worn out. needs new ones
