Hotpoint WF440 Washing Machine - Not filling

Hi,

I have a Hotpoint WF440 that is not filling properly (a small amount of water gets in) and cuts out. When it cuts out:

1) The On/Off light flashes rapidly
2) The 3 middle lights (out of 5) flash. They are Reduce Creases (2), Rinse Hold (3) and Time Saver (4)

I've checked the water supply to the machine and that seems ok. There is no grit or muck on the inlets.

that means error code f07 heater relay stuck poss new board and epprom ,make sure the connections are tight on the pcb bottom left at back of mc .if fault happens again cost about 100 quid for part .hotpoint will do the lot for that price inc labour ,or scrap it the choice is yours

Was hoping it would be something user-fixable but there you go. We've had the thing for about 18 months now and it must be near the end of it's life

Fortunately we have an extended warranty on it and there is an engineer coming out to fix it! typical though... would go when we've 5 extra kids and 2 extra adults staying for the summer !!
