MACHINE IS SEVEN YEARS OLD . FIRST PROBLEM OCCURRED 5 WEEKS AGO REPAIR MAN REPLACED BRUSHES.SAME PROBLEM TODAY. MACHINE FILLS BUT JUST CLICKS THROUGH THE PROGRAMME AND DRAINS BUT DOES NOT TURN OR SPIN . DRUM SEEMS TO TURN OK .WOULD THE BRUSHES NEED TO BE REPLACED AGAIN AFTER SUCH A SHORT TIME?

Check the brushes for excessive wear. If they are worn down again then it would indicate a lifted segment on the commutaor causing brushes to wear prematually.This being the case you are now looking at a complete motor replacement
