Hotpoint Wm washing machine bearings

I have a WM washing machine the front bearing has collapsed leaving the outer part of the bearing stuck in the outer drum.
I tried hitting them out with no success.
I purchase a bearing puller on Ebay, has anyone tried using a bearing puller to remove the front bearing? Is their any other method to remove the bearings?
