Hotpoint wm51 won't spin.......

Hi there, i have a hotpoint wm51 (first edition 800). i have just replaced the carbon brushes & cleared out the pump of coins, keys, ect.

It is working fine again apart from when it is supposed to do the spin cycle & then it does'nt do anything again.

Any ideas please.

Did you release the locking tabs on the brushes first.

yes, i made sure they popped out ok

Check the pcb does it have a glass fuse on it. Also check the 6 wires from the motor to pcb for breaks.

It's all sorted now, i checked the brushes again & one had'nt popped out properly.
