hotpoint wma58 door lock flashing and cycle stopping?

Can anyone help please machine door lock flashes once I press door in or press start a few times it starts then all of a sudden door lock light flashes and cycle stops and ideas its driving me mad clothes are not getting washed properly as not going full cycle machine is now still got water in drum! Many Thanks

check the door spring in the handle is not broke ,it should be stiff , outher wise door lock needs changing. do it asap otherwise it will blow the tracks on the pcb .
