Im, buildindg a 2 storey extension the roof trusses arrived the other day,the roof is 30 deg pitch, 3 metres wide by 7.6 long,I reckon about 250 double romans to do the roof? does this sound about right? Thanks
Giving width and length and pitch is ok, but not enough info'
Ideally if you knew the rafter length then working out would be fairly simple.
You are likely to have say 26 tiles along the extension but as for up and down each side of the pitch is anyones guess.
For example: At 3m going (width), a 30 degree lean-to roof will have a rafter length of 3464mm plus the soffit overhang. This will amount to 11 tile courses or more.
The rafter legnth is 7.5 long overall there is no cverhang in the gable(due to buildind to the boundary) the facia board is almost flush with the brickwork. thanks
