Hi everyone.

This is my first post so be gentle hahaha. Ok my query is in relation to installing a timber handrail to help an elderly neighbour access their garden a bit easier. I have attached a picture of the existing steps going up to the garden.

They want a timber post and handrail up along the right hand side as you look at the steps. I want to attach the posts to the concrete plinth at the side.

Any suggestions as to the best way of doing this would be greatly appreciated. Obviously safety and security is prime importance but a reasonable price range also is required.

Again any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks everyone

Sink the posts into the soft landscaping beside the stairs and give them independant foundations then hang the rail from the posts with brackets..
