I've got some old cellotape marks that I'm trying to remove from a window frame. I've tired WD40 and turps, but its very slow to remove.

Lighter fuel, leave for 30 seconds and wipe of with tissue [to absorb glue or risk smearing the glue].If it's been there a long time carburetor cleaner is more powerful but must be used with care as it may damage pvc.
