how to fit a curtain trck

i have the instructions but very confusing
i am fixing it to the ceiling
what are pulley housings?

some diagrams would be nice

ok i have found out what pulley housing are but still don't know how to fix this damn thing

its a standard track from b n q
expendable from 1.8 to 3.9 approx

its for my lounge the width of my window is 2.60m and i have to attach it to the ceiling. on the instruction says to only use the pulley housings for ceiling but i dont think it will support the wight of curtains?!!??!

Are the fixing, movable and how many are there?
Is your ceiling timber joisted and do you have a clue either where the joist running or how to find that out?

What fixing came with the item and a photo of the genuine item or reference to find it would be nice.

Where are the fitting instruction?

it comes with 2 end brackets and 2 centre brackets, but the instruction says for ceiling fixing the end brackets are not required and pulley housings can be fixed directly using scrwes.

but as the width of my windows are around 2.60 and i wont be able to fix any of the centro brackets, i think that the track it self may not be strong enough to support a curtain.

Why can't you fix centre brackets? without them you can't fix the rail at all.
