Hi Guys,

I'm new to this forum and couldn't find the answer to this anywhere. I was hoping one of you could help.

In the bedroom there are two swiches controlling one ceiling light. There is one on the wall and one ceiling (cord) switch over the bed. I want to get rid of the cord switch over the bed.

The switch on the wall has the following wires

and the ceiling switch has these (i've put them in a block for now)

Does anyone know what I can do  ?

Cheers

To save future confusion swap the yellow and blue around at the wall switch, then fit the wall switch the the right way up.

Don't be tempted to plaster over the connection strip in the ceiling. Screw terminals can come loose and need to be accessible for testing. Ask, and electricians will usually tell you what is needed.

Thanks guys. The connector strip is now in the loft above. I think I'll swap it over to a junction box as seems a bit safer to me.
