Some coping stone (1mtr*300mm) didn’t fair to well in the severe frosts. Small pieces have broken away from the bottom edges. They are repairable but what do I use? First thought was exterior Pollyfilla but is there some better and more robust? After repairs the stones will be painted over with masonry paint for protection.

I'd go for new ones and save the bother of repairs, but it depends what you're looking for.

As a decorator, I repair lots of brick/stonework with Polycell weatherproof exterior filler which is strong and lasts forever. You could also use their quick drying cement filler, but it does set a bit quick for my liking.
Both here: http://www.polycell.co.uk/products/polycell_multi_purpose_exterior_polyfilla_powder.jsp

Both are cement based and dry grey, so their suitability for your situation will depend on whether the coping stones are painted.
Prime with an alkali resistant primer for lasting results.

Thanks lads,
Replacing the coping stones would be too big a job for just cosmetic flaws, so repair using either of the two suggestions is the way I’ll go.
