Hello , the title says it all really.
I have a velux in a small extension in a vaulted roof off of the kitchen .
Condensation has started to form and runs down the lower end and down the surrounding ceiling . This has left a brownish water stain on the white Matt paint .
I know ventilating the room will help . This problem mainly occours when cooking despite opening Windows ect.
What I would like to know if there is some sort of lip I could add that would collect the water or another alternative .
Also how will I treat the painted ceiling . I was thinking a stain block then repainting and then covering with a clear wax or something ?
Thank you for taking the time to read this .
