an upstairs wall can be used to lend support to the ceiling joists or it can carry on through into the loft space and carry roof members.

some walls lend lateral restraint to the adjacent walls they abut.

if in doubt get a pro to have a look.

this wall is only 900mm and is in line with the bathroom door nothing else in line with it then it fixes 90 degrees to outside wall if it is supporting roof trusses it will need a lintel wont it ?

i will look closer but roof trusses run in the same direction as the wall if this helps

if the roof is a truss construction then the wall will lend no support to it.

well i think they are trusses there are lots of diagonal suports
