I reckon the US is training them for suicide missions in Afghanistan. Each bird will have a little rucksack full of explosives attached to it's back. When these birds see Osama Bin Hidin' they'll all drop on him.

I can fully understand that, people fly jets in formation for exactly the same reason, (and possibly for sight reasons too, if you see your wingman, and the next man sees you, but how do the birds muster themselves, to fly at the same time? Birdsong, and animal noises must be much more than noises to attract a mate, got to be speech at a level that we are yet to understand, the very basics of which we do is the dolphins?
