What a nightmare
i have customer with f code L8 so i test boiler fan for resistance and it is in range between 100 and 130 ohms which according to ideal is correct.
so test continuity on the harness this is ok.
then test for voltage at fan with reset pressed in 0 volts but have volts between pink and yellow 14v
So like a dick called ideal tech support and gusss what.
Based on what i have told them they say ooh its the fan but then could be the board or maybe both so i say can a faulty fan cock the board as well they say mmmm may be.
So what to do bite the bullet and change both and charge the con stupid price even though it may just be one of the parts.
any advice would be helpful.
heh lets be careful out there
